Deviation compensation in LPBF series production via statistical predeformation and structural pattern analysis

Abstract This article proposes two approaches for a tailored geometrical deviation compensation Laser-Powder-Bed-Fusion production. The is performed by non-rigid deformation of the manufacturing geometry in each iteration to reduce deviations from target geometry. It important geometric separate deterministic random scatter, since compensating scatter can result unstable behaviour. In order compensate only novel local estimation are successfully introduced and tested using hybrid model series production cycle.
